About the Teacher

Mr. Barch graduated from Norwich University in 1982 with a Bachelor's Degree in Government. He taught Social Studies at Richford High School and Missisquoi Valley Union High School. He came to Mount Mansfield Union High School in 1993 as the Student Supervisor and later entered the field of Driver Education in 1998. He has been involved in driver education at the state, regional and national level and  has given presentations at all levels. He has held the office of President for the Vermont Driver & Traffic Safety Education Association and is currently on the Board of Directors for the American Driver & Traffic Safety Education Association. He has received the following awardes in the field of traffic safety:

Mr. Barch also co-teaches two of the teacher preparation coursed needed to become a licensed to teach Driver Education in the State of Vermont.
